Add a CommentYou can compare this with "Charlie Wilson's War" or "Thank You for Smoking." It doesn't compare. Not that Spacey doesn't do a great job of acting: he does. However, the character is just *so* slimey (and more than a little egotistical) that you really can't ever care about him, or the story or movie. *And* nobody ever learns anything ...
Surprised how entertaining the movie and Spacey were able to portray the wild but sad escapades of Jack Abramoff as the super lobbyists that brought down Tom Delay, Speaker of the House during Bush II's presidency ... unbelievable
Fair - Casino Jack (2010) 108 min. The only real thing going for this film is Kevin Spacey's sometime eccentric portrayal of true to life Washington lobbyist, Jack Abramoff. If you're into political satire, this is a film for you. For me, it wasn't terribly engaging.
