I read this series when I was twelve and still enjoy it to this day. Switched, while not being the best written, is a enjoyable read with lovable characters and a storyline that keeps you hooked.

I loved this book! I can't wait to read the next one. Wendy is a teenager dealing with a lot of problems. A psychotic mother who tried to kill her, an unwillingness to have almost any foods, and no friends, until Finn Holmes. After…

The "Trylle Trilogy" by Amanda Hocking is a fantastic read. I read this series in 2 days. I could not put the books down. She has now become one of my favorite authors.

Good book. It's "Princess Diaries" meets "The Iron Fey". The first book is the worst book of the Trylle Trilogy (at 3.5 Stars), but it was still an engaging YA story that made me want to find out what happened next. "Torn" (#2) & "Ascend"…

A fun and engaging read. The story line is interesting and it is easy to get caught up with the characters, but they often seem one dimensional and many of the final plot lines are predictable.

Hocking writes engaging stories that pull you in right from the very beginning and leave you wanting more. First in Hocking's Trylle trilogy, Switched begins with Wendy discovering that the reason her mother hates (and tried to kill) her…

I liked Wendy, and it's an interesting story. Some of it felt like too much explaining - stuff I think the reader could have picked up on and didn't need spelling out. Also I'm not the biggest Finn fan. He's a bit too strict with his…

An okay story that might appeal to 12-year-olds. Painfully bland and redundant writing in a juvenile tone; the characters all say "definitely" too much. The concept is familiar (Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, etc.) - the…

This book is one of a kind. i have never come across a book with the setting and characters that Switched posess. For me though, it's one of those books that I can enjoy once, but after that it loses it's spark a little. I recommend this…

An interesting start to another trilogy. It's another supernatural young adult book, but about trolls instead of fairies, vamps, or wolves. I found this an enjoyable read, I admit it wasn't the best, writing-wise, but it kept me hooked.

This was a great book but I felt like the ending was rushed. It was a good read and I will read the next one but it wasn't my favorite.
