Excellent tale of Easy Company from camp into battle on D-Day and beyond.

This is edited. I gave a 5 star and dropped it to a 3 because of the disgusting sex scenes and the horrible F words the script writer's, directors etc. just had to put in this movie. It ruined it for me. I thought I finally was watching a good movie and had to put up with that. 30's, 40's 50's, we didn't have to put up with trashy Hollywood. I'm not going to 'get used to it'. I stand for morality and high chemistry in human beings and won't ever accept the low life, low thinking, loww life speaking and flesh loving actions. I changed my mind, this movie gets a 2.

Worth the watch. The only problem is the usual problem I have with these kind of stories: WHICH CHARACTERS ARE WHICH????? Seriously, I could hardly tell these men apart. Other than that, one can see to beginnings of several famous actors' careers: Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, and Simon Pegg. All of these actors are very talented and it's nice to see where they started. The stories are riveting, even if YOU CAN'T TELL WHO THEY ARE, the action is top notch, the shaky camera actually is done very nice and doesn't distract, and it feels like your there and that those wounds really hurt. But it is possible to notice they use the same town/village set for multiple scenes; it is only noticeable if you know what to look for. If you loved Saving Private Ryan, you'll definitely love Band of Brothers.

They try to make this war story look like real life. It is a 10 series story. There is an interview with veterans who were actually in the war attached to the disk.

a panegyric to those, mostly kids, who fought to save Europe - extraordinary

Rare to see big-budget big ensemble cast mini-series these days.
Dark & somber.
Tough love boot camp for the actors.

So well done and a great homage to the men who served. Brilliant and kudos to two amazing producers.

Terrific series which compels one to examine the differences between the society, mentality, and patriotism of the WWII era versus today. I would recommend that this series be viewed by high school seniors in order that they understand the sacrifices made so that they can live in peace and safety in our nation.

An excellent miniseries of American help freeing some of Europe. Superb acting, set up, scenery. The scenes of the labour camps and of Austria are horrifically real.
This movie will stay with you for a long time.

This is my most favourite show of all time. Band of Brothers gave me a strong love for military personnel and military history. I can barely put into words how much this show means to me (and yes, it does sound a little drastic, but still) of how it showed me the bond between brothers in arms. Thumbs up to Mr Hanks and Mr Spielberg for this amazing show. This is definitely a 10/10! Lest we forget. Nous Resterons. We Will Remain.
