An electric combination of angels, mystery and romance, EXILE is the breathtaking sequel to MERCY in a major new paranormal romance series.

There's something very wrong with me. When I wake up, I could be anyone...

An angel in exile, Mercy is doomed to return repeatedly to Earth, taking on a new human form each time she does. Now she "wakes" as unhappy teen Lela, a girl caring for a dying mother but never herself.

As her shattered memory begins to return, Mercy remembers Ryan, the boy she fell in love with in another life, and Luc, the angel haunting her dreams. Will Mercy risk Lela's life to be reunited with her heart's true desire?

An electric combination of angels, mystery and romance, Exile is the second book in the spellbinding MERCY series.

This book, and overall series, could be considered accidental to me. I was casually scrolling through the bookshelves when I picked up the first book, Mercy. It looked and sounded interesting, so I decided to read it. Little did I know, there was so much I could relate to in it. I may not be the most dedicated Christian believer, but there was a lot I made references to in this second addition to the series. Anyone who liked Hush, Hush will probably like this story as they both have that common thread: angels. This is a pretty interesting book, if you ask me. 4/5 stars.

*Semi-spoiler alert* I'm not sure if I like this series more than the Fallen series (both about fallen angels, searching for the one love through the ages), but I'm really enjoying it so far. Definitely an enjoyable read.

After having read book 3 (Muse), I strongly advise not to give up after reading book 2. Like most other quartets/trilogies, book 2 is the filler one, created to move the story along to the ending. While book 3 is not the end (that's slotted to be book 4, which should be out by now), it is by far the most action packed and revealing of the first 3 and should not be missed despite luke-warm feelings toward book 2!

i honestly think that the book could have gotten a little to the point a lot quicker i dont think ill read Muse though

Things get a little more intense in this book as the readers start to understand the story behind Mercy. I can't say I liked the second book more than the first because of its unchanging and action-less plot, but this book certainly ends with a cliffhanger. As far as I know, Muse does get better. Can't wait to read the third book!

I am still liking the theme but the secondary characters were a little too pat. Hoping Muse is better.
