This was a little too alternative for me. I was looking for some yummy, inexpensive, every-day sort of recipes, but everything here involves some kind of seaweed or a plant I could only get at Whole Foods. Also, the book is a little preachy. Not overly preachy, but I don't want to be made to feel that I'm going to die if I eat cheese or have a cup of coffee. The information on whole grains was useful though.
