Influential to Tarantino towards Kill Bill, Lady Snowblood is a bloody revenge story based on Kazuo Koike's (Lone Wolf and Cub, Samurai Executioner) manga. With wonderful cinematic imagery and a great theme song (also used in Kill Bill), it's certainly worth viewing. Included in the set is Lady Snowblood: Love Song of Vengeance which is heavier on the blood and not so much on the story. It actually feels more like a pilot for a series so is really unnecessary to take the time to watch it unless you like the genre.
