(*Famous "Wicked Queen" quote*) - "Magic mirror on the wall - Who's the fairest of them all?"

Released back in 1937 - "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is an animated musical/fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Productions.

Its story was based on the German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. Disney's take on the fairy tale has had a significant cultural impact, resulting in popular theme park attractions, a video game, and, yes, even a Broadway musical.

This film was produced on a $1.5 million budget. It has since grossed over $400 million, worldwide. When adjusted for inflation, it actually ranks right up there as being one of the top ten performers at the North American box office.

At the 11th Academy Awards presentation - Walt Disney received an honorary Oscar, and the film was nominated for "Best Musical Score" the year before.

The first of Walt Disney Animation Studios' many features is still undeniably one of their best animated. Beautiful from start to finish, and astounding when you stop to consider the ambition of it at the time. The plot is as trite as any princess fairy story ever has been but that's a tertiary consideration.

This is a movie that would perk me up with anything down in life; too many said things for 2018. Just needed to know everything wonderful is around us more then the fake news ugly...example Queen Mother, the huntsman taking out to pick flowers...the old lady offering and apple..., the beautiful apple with a hidden agenda.....wonderfulness is the hollow forest is filled with helping animals, the little beds are housing kind hearted dwarfs named dopey, doc, bashful, happy, grumpy, sleepy, some other one...the prince will come. Try and find the bad parts of the ugly and mesh it together...spectacular euphuism . Your the best Walt D 5 sleeping beauty to you

This is a classic :) Can't go wrong with that. Even now, the witch still scares me when she offers Snow White the apple...:P

How can you not love this movie? Everything about it is so...peaceful. But then there are the sweet suspenseful parts. I much prefer the old copies to the newly restored though. The colours were once such a careful consideration because audiences had never seen a technicolour movie before this and the creators were worried that audiences would get a headache from seeing a full length colour movie.
