I guess "Tales of B.S." would've sold less copies. Carlos Casteneda was Peruvian-born, American-educated anthropologist/writer whose book "The Teachings of Don Juan" became a kind of hippie/new age bible. Casteneda met a Yaqui Indian in Mexico called Don Juan and wrote a series of books based on his "teachings." This is the fourth in the series. I couldn't help but be skeptical and just flipping it open at random you get pearls of wisdom like "A warrior doesn't ever lead the island of the tonal. He uses it." Huh? I suppose if you're on drugs, this might seem profound Casteneda later formed a for-profit "movement" called Cleargreen and lived with three women. Sounds a bit cultish.
