This book is a prime example of why I love Lisa Jewell's work. Pick up one of her books and the game is on; one never knows what kinds of twisted lie behind any closed door. The Family Upstairs is an astounding story - creepy, scary, heart wrenching, confusing at times but it seems to work itself out by the end. Definitely recommend this book

Wow!! This is one crazy, crazy story! When I thought the plots were dragging, the author would throw in a curveball to shake things up. The ending is definitely well worth the wait!

Good, easy read. Nothing extraordinary, good concept and story line but a little dry, but overall a decent read.

Great book! I normally hate books that go from one character to the next with each chapter, and although it doesn't specify which person you're on, it was easy to follow. I really enjoyed this book, so much so that I'm headed to search for another one by this author now.

Absolutely amazing novel by Lisa Jewel! It is one of those that you can't put down. It keeps you on your toes with each chapter kind of like a mini cliff hanger going into the next.

Worst book I have ever read. Not sure why I finished it - must have been bored!
You really never who who the author was talking about. The author referred to "she" or "him". Not impressed at all!!!

4 star read. I really enjoyed this book and found it an easy and engrossing read. Libby Jones turns 25 and gets an inheritance, a big old mansion in the best part of Chelsea in London. Visiting the house, it is a shambles, old and crumbling but with hints of its glorious past. But other people have been waiting for her to turn 25 and as she meets them, she starts to piece together her past and what happened in the house. A very good read.

Definitely a page-turner! The alternating point of views that change from chapter to chapter slowly open up the suspenseful story. Kept me up way past my bedtime for several nights because I had a hard time putting it down!
