It's the night before St. Patrick's Day, and Tim and Maureen are wide awake setting traps to catch a leprechaun! When they wake the next morning to the sound of their dad playing the bagpipes and the smell of their mom cooking green eggs, they're shocked to find that they've actually caught a leprechaun. But will they be able to find his pot of gold? Natasha Wing's sweet story is once again told in verse to the same meter of Clement Moore's classic.

Modeled after The Night Before Christmas, this is a cute little St Patrick's Day book about a couple of children making leprechaun traps. I would recommend this as a good read aloud book for families with kids about 3-8 yrs olds.

I have enjoyed some of Natasha Wing's other books, but I hate this one. It is about children who catch a leprechaun in hopes of getting gold. Also, it talks about kilts and bagpipes which have nothing to do with St. Patrick's day.
