In the 'Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting' by Natalia Bonner, we can all learn a lot about new quilting using the free-motion quilting technique. I especially liked the way she takes the quilter from beginning stitches into more advanced-appearing designs in an orderly and detailed fashion. Not only does Bonner offer around 50 patterns, but she also includes 6 quilt projects, explaining why she uses what design. Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting is a good book to keep as a reference by your sewing machine, and will be wonderful as a guide to finishing your UFO's (unfinished objects). I really want to practice and learn some of Bonner's techniques!
