[Audiobook] Amy Poehler’s memoir, "Yes, Please," falls short of what I had hoped for. She is charming and forthright and smart and witty. The stories about her time and growth at UCB and SNL and Parks and Rec are occasionally interesting, as are those about some of her other experiences. But the comedic and storytelling abilities she has shown in other formats didn’t translate into a book that shows them off. She’s just too rambling and disjointed here to make a whole, which would be fine if I just wanted to hang out with Poehler and hear her stories, but a memoir is more than that.
