Fourth installment of Newman's alternative "history" world where Dracula survived and vampires "came out". Supposedly killed off in the third novel, one of Dracula's gets is ambitious for power, comes to America and gets to meet all sorts of famous people from the late quarter of the 20th century. Real life celebrities, and fictionalized version of literary and movie vampires make cameo appearances, and it is fun trying to spot them. This book isn't a novel per se, but a series of short stories that were published in the past, and edited into tome, so it can feel a bit disjointed at times. It is also a good idea to read the previous novels first.
