In a world filled with deceit, greed, unconscionable actions against their fellow man, compounded by inaction from those whose job is to protect - Harry Markopolis stands out like a beacon of light. Many knew or suspected fraud. Only Harry and his pals cared enough to pursue, even at the risk of their lives and livelihood. He took on the finance world. And the regulators. The corrupt and the incompetents. The ones who turned a blind eye. From a quant (quantitative analyst), one would expect a book that would be tedious and stifling. Instead it sizzles with stories and flows with refreshing honesty. If anyone suspects Harry's motives, just contemplate whom this book was dedicated to : " the victims who above all need to know the truth "
