Excellent! By far the best thing Patterson has ever written. The President’s speech to Congress at the end is solid gold.

Meh... I was hoping for better. It was an okay read. All the politics and government stuff gets a little dull. A hero president who needs to save the world, but he's got a trader in his cabinet. Who can he trust. Think 24, designated…

A Dan Brown style adventure but easier to follow. Enjoyable, especially if you like political thrillers.

The entire novel is set into action predicated on an improbable and ludicrous premise that an idiotic President will go to extraordinary lengths to avoid Secret Service protection. Go along for the ride if you want (I did) but it is pure…

After 30 or so pages I wasn’t getting enthralled. Mr. Clinton should stick to his lucrative talk circuit gig.

so..probably in the first 100 pgs I became familier with U.S polital structure?? And there was a plot that I was interested in........But in the last 100+ and esp. the last 3-6... it was my impression that "Billy" was trying to make-up for…

Fast paced, exciting and dramatic, but reads like a season of 24: I kept expecting Jack Bauer to put in an appearance. Sometimes heavy on the computer or IT mumbo jumbo. The novel has Patterson's writing flavor, but wonder who approached…

It was difficult to get into but about midway through it gets so interesting that I found it hard to put down. Frightening to think that this sort of thing could actually happen. It many ways it touches on what is happening in our…

While 500+ pages, definitely a quick read. Interesting plot - I'm sure it will turn into a movie. Far from the best book but thoroughly entertaining.

This was the most boring book I have had the displeasure of reading in YEARS and I was so looking forward to it.

I look forward to the sequel, "The President's Apology for His Treatment of Women in the 90s."

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I think co-writing with an ex-president gave it a more real feel.

This book was absorbing and fascinating. If you like books with interesting plots, you will like this book; there are many twists and turns. Just when you think you have figured something out, you find out you are wrong. Warning: the…

I am a fan of Mr Clinton's politics. This book is a convoluted and highly imporbable tale. Mr Clinton never met a sentence that he couldn't turn into a paragraph. I did not finish this book, something I rarely do.

Not really well written. I think this famous and excellent author was too busy to work on it more.

Mostly good. The lectures on various themes go on far too long and seem to be Clinton trying to make claims about his own presidency. I really miss the early Patterson books that he wrote himself.

I enjoyed this book very much. It has the style of James Patterson and the inside knowledge of President Bill Clinton. I found it to be very interesting.

I've never actually read a Patterson before. I wasn't sure how I would feel about this book. Surprisingly, it kept me intrigued and I finished it in just a few days (partially because I knew there were over a hundred people behind me on…

Great book. Page turner. Only thing I wish was different was the time spent on the actual climax... I mean I know we are talking about an already 500 pg book but most of the book is the suspense leading to the climax, Regardless, read this…

A quite enjoyable thriller. I was a little leery as I have gotten a little tired of James Patterson novels lately but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. A little slow at the start and a bit hard to get into but once it got going it…

I was surprised that I enjoyed reading this novel. Ordinarily I eschew anything written by presidents and I am always leery of best selling authors like Patterson, but I thought the story was fast paced and as good as any cybertech …

very up-to-date and current in the details that make the story good. not sure why readers who are so partisan would even try to read this book. did they expect Clinton to write about a president who was more Bush or Trump like??

Read like it was written by a Republican hating X president. The story was absurd. Comic book material. The political speech at the end was right up Bill's alley, total BS.
